Dear reader,

This humble chapbook of poetry  aims to offer a sampling of poems
I've written throughout my life.  Some of them may be familiar to
readers of my poems.  I really hope you can find something in it to
enjoy.

I once made my own print copies of my chapbook (formerly titled,
The Black Butterfly), a very limited edition, which sold out at one of
my shows.  While I work on making more copies of it, I just thought
I'd start about it again with my own website, at least as an abridged
version, so that the print copy can still retain its own depth and
character, whenever it comes out again.

You are most welcome to communicate with me about this
chapbook, since it is in an experimental stage.  It makes my day to
hear from folks.

In closing, I gratefully dedicate this book of poems to Barbara
Donovan, founder of the Live Poets Society in Long Island, who first
saw the poet in me when I was a teen.
